The project team leaves. The equipment stays.
At closeout, an owner inherits installed equipment, ongoing maintenance responsibilities, warranties, and the consequences of every unclear record. A large folder of PDFs is not automatically an organized handover. The useful question is whether the next person can find the right information for the asset in front of them.
EquipTalkIQ turnover packages organize equipment and supporting records into defined sections, with owner portal access and PDF binders. The package becomes a focused delivery rather than an invitation to browse a contractor’s internal workspace.
Organize around the questions an owner will ask.
What is installed? Which manual applies? What coverage remains? Who provided training? What preventive work is expected? These are different questions, but they refer to the same building. A useful package links them without forcing the reader to guess which file name is correct.
The sample selector below highlights equipment, warranties, training, and service context. The real turnover workflow supports a broader organized package. Completeness still requires review: an included section can contain missing or outdated records.
- Identify assets consistently.
- Keep warranty coverage and supporting documents together.
- Preserve service and PM information for the next operator.
Built for the next chapter.

Warranty support is not a binding coverage decision.
Coverage can depend on dates, installation conditions, exclusions, and the specific agreement. AI can help summarize known warranty information and draft a claim narrative. It cannot establish that a manufacturer will accept the claim.
A rep collaboration room can provide a focused place for missing documentation and follow-up. The package should preserve evidence and ownership of next steps rather than blur responsibilities among contractor, rep, and owner.
Delivery needs deliberate access.
Owner access should be limited to the package and building context that has been intentionally provided. A share link should be revocable and time-limited. PDF delivery remains useful when the recipient needs an offline handout, but it is a snapshot, not an automatically updating live feed.
Paid owner access, external delivery, and live building integrations require additional commercial and connection setup. The demo lets you explore organization and review without implying those services are already active.
A useful handover makes the next maintenance decision easier, not just the file count bigger.
