Controls
Put the building’s points next to the unit’s history.
Points come in through a read-only feed set up for each customer and sit on the unit they belong to, beside its service, warranty and documents. Every value says where it came from.

A BAS shows what a point reads. It does not show that the unit was repaired twice this spring, when its compressor warranty ends, or who installed it.
EquipTalkIQ puts the points on the unit’s record. Readings arrive through a read-only feed we set up with each customer, a person confirms which unit each point belongs to, and daily detectors turn out-of-range points into findings with their evidence. Nothing writes back to a controller, and every value is labelled Live, Stale, Simulated or No live feed.
Two pieces are in development: a Niagara module for the JACE that links a station to the record, and the Startup Assistant, a box at the unit that fills the startup report from live points.

Proof
Findings come with their readings
Each finding lists the points, values and expected ranges that raised it, and closes on its own when the condition clears. The AI writes site briefs from those findings only.

Questions
Worth asking.
How do points get in?
Through a read-only feed we set up with you during onboarding. Your station or a forwarder posts readings with a scoped, revocable token, and a person maps each point to its unit.
Can it change a setpoint?
No. Every path is read-only; nothing in EquipTalkIQ writes to a controller, a station or the equipment.
Is the Niagara module available?
Not yet. It is in development, and the Niagara page explains the plan and how to join early access.
Why does the demo say Simulated?
The demo company has no controller behind it, so its points are labelled Simulated. Only the demo is ever simulated.
