Controls module · Niagara module
In development · early access for design partnersInstall it on any JACE. The station links itself to the record.
We are building a Niagara module for any Niagara JACE that links the station to EquipTalkIQ: once your controls contractor installs it, the station shows up with its equipment, points and alarms, on the same record as each unit’s manuals, warranty, service history and startup data. The owner’s IT picks how it connects, and it is read-only by default.
THE NIAGARA MODULE
A software add-on for the JACE. No new box in the panel.
The module is designed to install on a Niagara 4 JACE, whichever brand is on the label, the way other Niagara modules do. No custom integration per job and no hardware to stock.
- The station appears in EquipTalkIQ with its equipment, points and alarms.
- Points land on the unit record beside the manuals, warranty, service history and startup report, so the assistant reasons over all of it.
- Once installed, the station links to EquipTalkIQ on its own: no custom integration per job, by us or by you.
- Sold with controls contractors, not against them. They install the module; EquipTalkIQ does not sell controllers or do controls installs.

THE BMS STAYS ON THE BUILDING NETWORK
Three ways to connect. The owner’s IT chooses.
More owners keep the BMS off the internet, and they should be able to. Each option below keeps the building network closed to inbound traffic.
READ-ONLY BY DEFAULT
It watches. It never operates.
The same rule the app follows today: AI drafts and people decide, and nothing in EquipTalkIQ commands equipment.
No commands to equipment
The module reads points, equipment and alarms. It does not write a setpoint, override a point or command a controller.
Nothing connects in
Data leaves the building encrypted and outbound only. No inbound firewall ports, no remote session into the BMS.
Listens before it talks
On a live BMS network the Startup Assistant listens first, never takes an address already in use and polls lightly.
Writes stay behind a person
If writes or overrides are ever added, they will sit behind explicit confirmation and permissions. The first version has none.
WHERE IT STANDS
What you can use now, and what is being built.
We would rather show you the line than blur it. No ship date is promised on this page; design partners see each piece first.
In the app today
- Controls views: points checked against expected ranges, beside each unit’s record
- Findings with evidence that close themselves when the condition clears
- AI site briefs written only from those findings
- Demo readings are simulated; no live controller feeds run in the demo
In development
- The Niagara module for the JACE
- Outbound-only and separate cellular gateway connections
- Offline readings through the Startup Assistant
- Live points, equipment and alarms on the unit record
Not planned
- Our own controller
- Controls installation or commissioning work
- Writing setpoints from the AI
Run it on a real building with us.
Early access is for design partners: mechanical contractors with controls in house, or a controls partner they work with, who will try the module on real buildings and tell us what is wrong with it.
