Construction

Win the job on the spec, then hand over the building with its record.

Everything a document tool does before award, carried on through the build: cited spec answers, the submittal log, addenda and drawing changes, crew and material plans, and a turnover package the owner can open.

Before award, the work is reading. SpecLens reads the spec set, addenda and contract once, answers questions with the paragraph that settles them, writes the submittal log from each section, and tracks what every addendum changed. Drawing reissues are compared sheet by sheet, and conflicts become RFI drafts with their citations.

During the build, the same project carries the plan: crews, materials with their order-by dates, and budget, with risks computed from the plan and AI drafts you accept. Submittals move from your rep to you to the engineer in a shared room, checked against the spec on the way.

At closeout, the turnover package is built from the units, documents and warranties already on the record. The owner opens it by link or login, and the same units carry on into service.

Proof

Every line points at the paragraph that requires it

Each submittal log line carries the paragraph, page and quoted words behind it; click it and the spec opens there. Your statuses and notes survive a regeneration, and lines an addendum touched are flagged for review.

Questions

Worth asking.

Is this only for preconstruction?

No. The same project runs from spec answers and the submittal log to crew and material plans and a turnover package, and its units carry on into service.

Does AI change our documents or plans?

No. AI drafts answers, RFIs, checklists, plan lines and summaries with their sources, and people approve them. Change tracking and risk math are plain code.

Can it read scanned spec books and drawings?

Yes. Scanned pages are read by OCR on your device, with no model call, and every citation from a scan says so with its confidence.

How do our projects get in?

We load your projects during the pilot. Spec sets and drawing revisions are uploaded once, and Procore projects, submittals and RFIs sync read-only once your account is connected.

One record, from the spec to the service call.

We load your sites, units and documents during the pilot, so the walkthrough is on your own kind of work. The 90-day pilot is $9,000, credited to your first year if you continue.
